well today starts my long journey to afghanistan for the next year or so. I know i have not been posting a lot and i am not sure if many of the people that watch me are on here much any more. In any case it may be a long time before this gets updated. as of now i will only have my Canon A1 with me but as the pay comes in i will hopefully be getting a new point and shoot and a DSLR. if McCurry's work is any indication i think that this may be a very fruitful photographic experience. adios for now.

Hello all
the school year is done and i have moved to Chicago for the summer to take and Architecture job. I am hoping that being in the city will open many more photo opertunities. I have not been able to shoot much yet but as soon as i am all settled i will get on it. Unfortunately i do not have an chemicals let a lone access to a dark room to develop and make prints. I am not sure what i am going to do about this. It might mean shooting a bunch this summer and waiting untill the school year to process much of it. I don't really like this idea as it will be touch to grow if i can't look at my works. I dont know if i can afford everything i need to develop my own film so if anyone has any ideas or knows anywere that does good film processing in the chicago area let me know. If anyone is reading this that lives in the chicago area (no one) drop me a line and we will go shoot!
